What began as a 90-team tournament has exploded into a nationally recognized event with over 700+ teams applying annually, creating one of the most competitive and exciting tournament atmospheres in the Southwest. Each year, more than
100+ college coaches attend Phoenix Cup, providing players with unmatched exposure and recruiting opportunities.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The Phoenix Cup will be attracting the teams from the US and Canada! This has become a staple event for west coast teams to prepare for their state cup. There’s no better place to play and be recognized!
The Phoenix Cup is committed to excellence.
WHEN: Girls weekend March 13-15 and Boys weekend March 20-22. Competition will begin with Friday daytime games and with Finals on the Sunday. Given the number out of state teams, there is no guarantees to accommodate schedules requests.
Note: Games kick-off Friday morning at 9am. All teams are expected to play games on Friday.
WHERE: The Phoenix Cup will be played at some of most prime time fields on the west coast
– Reach 11 Sports Complex – Scottsdale Sports Complex – Bell 94 Sports Complex
Age Groups: 2017 (U7) – 2007 (U19) (B/G) – brackets will be set according to team overall ranking.
Final Deadline to Apply is February 20. Early Entries and Club 5+ Offer whose payment is not received by Early deadline, December 13th will pay the increased entry fee after Dec. 13th.
The completed Check and gotsoccer application (with team, gender, and age group noted on the check) should be mailed to:

Credit Card Payment can be made through gotsoccer, once accepted – credit card option will be setup in your account. ***Entry fee to be sent within 2 weeks of submitting the team application. Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted.
Note: Teams who are accepted and withdraw from event do not receive a refund.
If the tournament is canceled due to weather or Acts of God, pandemic, your team entry fee will be transferred to any future upcoming 2026 events.
Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed shortly after the deadline. Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside the state of Arizona, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application provided the application and payments received before the deadline.
Applications will be accepted from teams affiliated with USYSA, US Club Soccer, USSSA, AYSO and Select, Canadian Soccer Association and FIFA affiliated youth soccer associations outside of the United States.
TRAINERS & MEDICAL STAFF: Athletic trainers will be onsite at all facilities.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. All age brackets play into a finals. Referee fees are included in the registration fee. U7 & U8 play 4v4, U9&U10 will play 7v7, U11 & U12 will play 9v9, U13 – U19 teams play 11v11
GUEST PLAYERS:
2017-2014 (U9-U12) are allowed 4 guest players (included in the roster maximum)
2013-2006 (U13-U19) are allowed 6 guest players (included in the roster maximum)
Hotel Requirements:
THIS IS A STAY AND PLAY EVENT FOR TRAVEL TEAMS. All travel teams booking hotel rooms must use the selected hotels provided by the Phoenix Cup must follow the stay and play policy. Any travel team not complying with the service will NOT be permitted to participate in the tournament and a refund will not be issued. Once accepted and team entry paid, you will be given access to book hotels.
Any teams registering after the deadline will be placed on an active waiting list depending on availability based on the size of the divisions and flights.
