About the
Phoenix cup
Phoenix Cup is one of the premier spring soccer showcases in the country, bringing together elite clubs from across the United States and Canada. For over 14 years, top West Coast programs have made it a must-attend event to prepare for State Cup competition and compete against some of the nation’s best talent.
What started as a 90-team tournament has grown into a nationally recognized event, with over 700+ teams applying annually and more than 100+ college coaches attending each year, giving players valuable exposure and recruiting opportunities.
Games are hosted at Arizona’s top soccer facilities, including Reach 11 Sports Complex and Scottsdale Sports Complex, offering quality fields, elite competition, and an unforgettable tournament experience.

Phoenix Cup Tournament Overview
The Phoenix Cup brings together top youth soccer teams from across the United States and Canada, making it one of the West Coast’s premier preseason events for State Cup preparation.
Event Dates
- Girls: March 12–14
- Boys: March 19–21
- Games begin Friday at 9:00 AM, with championship matches on Sunday. All teams must be available to play on Friday.

Tournament Format
- Minimum 3 guaranteed games
- Championship finals in every division
- Referee fees included
Registration
- Early entry pricing ends December 11
- Final application deadline: February 12
- Teams accepted after review. Refunds issued only to teams not accepted; withdrawn teams are not eligible.
Guest Players
- U9–U12: up to 4 guest players
- U13–U19: up to 6 guest players
Stay & Play
Travel teams are required to book accommodations through the tournament’s official housing program. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
Affiliations
Open to teams affiliated with US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer, USSSA, AYSO, Select, the Canadian Soccer Association, and other FIFA-affiliated youth associations.
Additional Information
Athletic trainers will be onsite at all venues. Teams applying after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list based on availability.
