The Phoenix Cup has become a staple event for all west coast teams using it to prepare for their state cup competition. Over the last 8 years, the event has gone from 90 teams to over 700+ applied teams while attracting some of best programs from the US and Canada! On average over 85+ college coaches registered and the list continues to grow year after year.
Phoenix Cup plays at the beautiful Reach 11 Complex and Scottsdale Sports Complex. There’s no better place to play and be recognized!

The Phoenix Cup will be attracting the teams from the US and Canada! This has become a staple event for west coast teams to prepare for their state cup. There’s no better place to play and be recognized!
The Phoenix Cup is committed to excellence.
WHEN: Boys weekend March 15-17 and Girls weekend March 22-24. Competition will begin with Friday daytime games and with Finals on the Sunday. Given the number out of state teams, there is no guarantees to accommodate schedules requests.
Note: Games kick-off Friday morning at 9am. All teams are expected to play games on Friday.

Age Groups: U9 – U19 (B/G) – brackets will be set according to team overall ranking.
Final Deadline to Apply is February 23. Entries whose payment is not received by December 10th will pay the increased entry fee after Dec. 8th.
The completed Check and gotsoccer application (with team, gender, and age group noted on the check) should be mailed to:

Credit Card Payment can be made through gotsoccer, once accepted – credit card option will be setup in your account. ***Entry fee to be sent within 2 weeks of submitting the team application. Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted.
Note: Teams who are accepted and withdraw from event do not receive a refund.
If the tournament is canceled due to weather or Acts of God, pandemic, your team entry fee will be transferred to any future upcoming 2024 events.
Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed shortly after the deadline. Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside the state of Arizona, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application provided the application and payments received before the deadline.
Applications will be accepted from teams affiliated with USYSA, US Club Soccer, Canadian Soccer Association and FIFA affiliated youth soccer associations outside of the United States.
TRAINERS & MEDICAL STAFF: Athletic trainers will be onsite at all facilities.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. All age brackets play into a finals. Referee fees are included in the registration fee. U9&U10 will play 7v7.U11 & U12 will play 9v9. U13 to U19 teams play 11v11 and may carry up to 22 players on their roster but only 18 players can play in any given game.
U9-U12 are allowed 4 guest players (included in the roster maximum)
U13-U19 are allowed 6 guest players (included in the roster maximum)
THIS IS A STAY AND PLAY EVENT FOR TRAVEL TEAMS. All travel teams booking hotel rooms must use the selected hotels provided by the Phoenix Cup must follow the stay and play policy. Any travel team not complying with the service will NOT be permitted to participate in the tournament and a refund will not be issued. Once accepted and team entry paid, you will be given access to book hotels.
Any teams registering after the deadline will be placed on an active waiting list depending on availability based on the size of the divisions and flights.
